Wait you're telling me one of those Hanson brothers didn't die of a heroin overdose?
Funny, it is actual the complete opposite.
They are not some has-been 90s band whose popularity slowly dwindled against their will, like New Kids on the Block (lol @ USG ). They got sick of the corporate structure and corporate politics involved with the music industry (label executives refused over 80 songs from the band because they believed it "lacked marketability") and decided to just make music together with more creative freedom, doing what they loved. They could have totally kept going and been as robust as NSYNC or Backstreet Boys, but did not want to sell out, and that is incredibly admirable. It's a testament to their character.
They kept making music -- and as USG knows -- these 90s bands who stick together still have a throng of fans who have followed them around since then. So Hanson brothers remained to their roots, kept developing musically, and still going on worldwide tours for their hard core fans. They don't sell out entire stadiums or anything but they go to smaller venues and sell out to their most loyal fans around the world. There are still active Hanson fan clubs and everything.
Anyway, they turned out amazing, because they always were great people as I mentioned earlier. They are very handsome, and all three now have very cute and thriving families, which they actually displayed recently in a music video.
This is them now, if you don't want to watch the music video:
Hey, my dumb ass sister is the NKOTB fan, not me. I don't care that they dwindled. LOL @ her.
Also, I think they were more considered an 80's band.
