So yeah Jimmy isn't going anywhere. There is still a slim chance of a Brady appeal being heard, which he would likely be granted a stay throughout the case. Also I wouldn't rule out a settlement. I know that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to most people, but this victory is a much bigger deal to the NFL than just the Brady suspension, it literally impacts any future appeals regarding player discipline. Settling would guarantee that they keep this victory. From the sounds of it Brady has no interest in a settlement and will continue to appeal, although we will know for sure in the next two weeks.
The positive news is it will give Jimmy an opportunity to prove he can play in this league, and then we could legitimately talk about trading him next offseason.
I am hoping Brady and the Pats holds a press conference Thursday night in the middle of the draft.
